- Straight: In the film "The Tropers", the main antagonist Emperor Evulz is hinted at being an Omnicidal Maniac who has killed children in the past judging by some offhand comments, and this is a common fan theory. The sequel, "The Tropers 2", confirms this and even shows Evulz doing these actions.

- Evulz is heavily hinted to do a wide variety of awful crimes, such as genocide, slave-trading, sexual assault, and wearing stupid hats. The sequel shows him doing all of these actions in graphic detail.
- Despite "The Tropers" being a very lighthearted movie, the Fridge Horror makes it take a much Darker and Edgier route, which becomes canon.
- Downplayed:
- It's quite clear that Evulz is an Omnicidal Maniac, and there is a brief view of what would have happened if the heroes didn't stop him in time.
- The Fridge Horror is only confirmed as canon through some sort of Word of God.
- Justified: Evulz knew that some would be able to tell that he's really that evil, so he decided to prove it.
