Basic Trope: Geography in a work is terribly inexact.

  • Straight: The United States have a shape in the map that it hasn't in Real Life.
  • Exaggerated: At north is Canada, that for some reason has Alaska too. At south it's Mexico, which also got all the territory of South America. Russia is bigger than Africa and The Americas together, Greenland is bigger than Africa, Africa is a big country, and Spain is Mexico but in Europe. All the countries play their more exaggerated stereotypes.
  • Downplayed: The states in the United States have a strange form, but the country as a whole has the Real Life form.
  • Parodied: The geology of every country is literally a foil of their Real Life geology: The USA's north is a desert, the Deep South has a tundra, Illinois has Mountains, Mexico's north is a tundra, its south-east is a savanna, the Mexico Valley is the Mexico Jungle, Russia is a desert, the Sahara Desert is the Sahara Jungle, Peru is a plain, Brazil is a mountain range, and Canada is a savanna. The map shows a very distorted form of all them.
