Pantheon / GUAL Templar Order

This page is outdated and will be cut soon due to faction reworks

The Templar Order is a subdivision of the GUAL, the central fighting force whose main job is to...expunge those the Ministry of the Word deems unworthy of YHVH's Millennium Kingdom, or a threat to the Alliance's plans. It is formed of the most elite, fanatical warriors the GUAL has to offer, and act as the sword arm of His Will. However, despite acting as the GUAL's 'army', it is more accurate to describe them as a dual military/police organization. While the main fighting force is what the Templar Order is best known for, it's largest branch serves as a so-called 'secret police' that purges threats to its well-being incognito. If reports are correct, this branch may be responsible for blocking 67% of ascension applications to prevent the emergence of possible threats.

As of the Sibyl System's ascension, all of its officers are required to have a Dominator and an active communication with the Sibyl System, and all of its members subjected to weekly screenings to ascertain their loyalty via their Crime Coefficient.

House Leader

Alexander Anderson, Grandmaster of the Templar Order, God of Kicking Ass in the Name of the Lord (Father Anderson)

  • Lesser God Greater God when using the Nail
  • Symbol: His many many swords on hand. Alternatively, the Nail of Helena.
  • Alignment: Lawful Neutral with some dashes of Lawful Good
  • Reason for Joining: Iscariot is loyal to the Lord and no one else. He signed up after being sprung out of the GUAE's Re-Education Facility by a large contingent of angels.
  • Loyalty to YHVH: Medium. It is the Lord. Anderson knows all too well the need to exterminate monsters and infidels, but has vowed to curb the vicious aspect of the Great Will, feeling that it's too close to his former superior, Enrico Maxwell's, own depraved actions. Metatron admits to being intrigued by Anderson's code of conduct and unshakeable faith in the Lord, so he is willing to lend an ear to the paladin's concerns; if nothing else, he can gain insight in the workings of the human mind.
  • Threat Level to the Alliances: High. One considered to be a Worthy Opponent of frickin' Alucard is not one to be underestimated.
  • To sweeten the deal when he joined, Metatron gave him the Nail of Helena. Anderson accepted it, though he is careful not to use it except in the direst of circumstances; after all, directly channeling the power of the Lord through such an artifact turns him into a barely sentient beast filled with his Will. He sees this as far too close to Metatron's slow descent into inhumanity for comfort, and will exhaust every other option and beyond before considering using the Nail.
  • Many Iscariot members have followed their paladin's example and joined in after some wariness.

Members

The Sibyl System, Divine Representation of Totalitarian Utilitarianism (Sibyl, Chief Joshu Kasei, Harumi Hosorogi(?))

  • Overdeity
  • Symbol: A brain in a jar next to a Dominator, Chief Kasei
  • Alignment: Lawful Evil, though it sees itself as Above Good and Evil
  • Reason for Joining: Yaldabaoth, YHVH's second-in-command was impressed by Sibyl's profiling ability and accessed its network to invite it into the Grand United Alliance of Law. For strategic reasons, Sibyl accepted.
  • Loyalty to YHVH: Medium. Its ability to scan and detect loyalty and possibility of committing a crime is extremely useful for the God of Law. So long as it's useful, YHVH will keep it around and grant it the authority it needs.
  • Threat Level to the Alliances: Very High. It controls an entire country and is spreading to other nations as well. The other Alliances have placed it high on its watchlist given that it can easily hijack and become the dominant law enforcement system in the Pantheon.
  • The former chief of the MWPSB Joshu Kasei represents the Sibyl System on the High Council, with the MWPSB itself serving as the bulk of the Templar Order's police division, though in this case they're mindless drones controlled by Sibyl's hive mind. In fact, the Sibyl System itself also doubles as the GUAL's main intelligence network and security system, in much the same way as HAL 9000 and the Master Control Program are for the Grand United Alliance of Machines. Alexander Anderson views this as a threat to his leadership of the Templar Order, though Sibyl has let him retain command to focus on its primary directive in the GUAL: detecting and recruiting potential applicants.

High Councilor Kal-El, God of Tyrannical Superhumans ('Regime' Superman, The God Among Us)

  • Greater God, Overdeity if near a Blue Star
  • Symbol: The One-Earth Government Logo
  • Alignment: Lawful Evil
  • Reason for Joining: Freed from the Justice League Watchtower by the same angelic strike force that released Anderson. He approves of this Alliance's draconian policies, so he decided to remain and make himself useful, content that he's making a better world by imposing law.
  • Loyalty to YHVH: High. He has sworn to uphold the strict ideals the Great Will preaches, making everyone equal and thus incapable of true evil.
  • While his presence is deemed a major asset to the Order, it is not without its risks: the list of people from various realities he's pissed in his quest for perfect stability is rather long, his vulnerabilities are extremely well known (though they're working on fixing the weakness to magic), and if confronted by the Joker or any Chaotic Evil deities, will tend to focus his massive power in erasing them from the face of the universe. On the other hand, Metatron understands just how broken Kal-El became by the clown's antics, and has reinforced his faith in the cleansing force of Law, earning the Order a disciplined, loyal soldier with the power to sunder worlds.

Sakazuki, God of Magma (Fleet Admiral Akainu, Red Dog)

  • Greater God
  • Symbol: Pink roses
  • Alignment: Lawful Evil, though will insist he is Lawful Good
  • Reason for joining: It is his duty to enforce Justice and bring about a world free of evil. Akainu believes that only the law can make this possible.
  • Loyalty to YHVH: It is through Absolute Order that Absolute Justice is possible. Sakazuki believes in YHVH's will as strongly as the word written on his back.
  • Threat Level: Very High. Akainu's powers are terribly destructive. So long as he's acting on Justice, there is no line he wouldn't cross to see it done.

Artorius Collbrande, the Secretly Selfish God (Arthur, Shepherd, Armatized Artorius)

  • Intermediate God, Greater God after Armatizing with Innominat
  • Symbol: His wife's charm
  • Alignment: Lawful Neutral, everyone thinks he's Lawful Good
  • Reason for joining: Believes the GUAL's goal on removing the free will of the universe is a noble cause to back behind.
  • Loyalty to YHVH: Very High. Although he is more loyal to the ideals YHVH stands for than the figure himself.
  • Threat Level: Very High. Is seen as a hero to most, thus having a backing behind himself which is his true power.

Nikolai Dmitri Bulygin, God of Warped Justice

  • Lesser God (Regularly), Intermediate God (Upgraded)
  • Symbol: The Tesla Blitz
  • Alignment: Lawful Evil
  • Reason For Joining: The Great Will is one of the precious few with the vision to realize the importance of Order and Punishment to those who would dare to confront Justice. Law and Order exist for Control, and with YHVH issuing a mass draft to join, he couldn't just let pass the chance.
  • Loyalty to YHVH: High, as He embodies the qualities Bulygin seeks in Law.
  • Threat Level to the Alliances: High.

Ornstein and Smough, Gods of Scary Impractical Armors

  • Intermediate Gods
  • Symbols: The Dragonslayer Spear (Ornstein); The Execution Hammer (Smough)
  • Alignment: Lawful Neutral
  • Reason for Joining: Issei and Vali are in the GUAG and the GUAC respectively. Ornstein and Smough want to kill them. Do the math.
  • Loyalty to YHVH: Technically, they're under Gwyn's loyalty, but that only pesters the Great Will.
  • Threat Level to the Alliances: Rather high, considering the game where they come from.

Light Yagami, God of Improbable Strategy (Kira)

  • Lesser God
  • Symbol: A Black Notebook
  • Alignment: Lawful Evil (believes himself to be Lawful Good)
  • Reason for joining: Some time after the Grand Disappearance, his abilities for strategy gained him a spot in the GUAL. It's the alliance most in line with his ideals (and the GUAG still refuses to take him in, for some reason); he wants to make the Pantheon and the multiverse a better place... by purging the "rotten" ones from there.
  • Loyalty to YHVH: He wants to help create a better Pantheon along with YHVH. Or so he says. He's actually planning to control and/or overthrow YHVH when the right time comes, as he is the one true God and only he can change the Pantheon for the better. He also looks down on everyone else in the alliance.
  • Threat Level to the Alliances: Medium. He's essentially just a civilian, but he's smart and has been able to manipulate beings more powerful than him. However, he can also get massively screwed by his own ego and childish way of thinking.

Funny Valentine, God of Weaponizing Letting the Selves Meet (The Twenty Third President, The President of The United States of Valentine)

  • Greater God
  • Alignment: Lawful Evil
  • Symbol: His Stand, Dirty Deeds Done Dirt Cheap, raveled in the American flag
  • Reason for Joining: Believes that working with YHVH will help him bring prosperity to America, and he also hopes he'll find the Corpse Parts as a result.
  • Loyalty to YHVH: Medium-Low. His top priority is having the best for America, though he doesn't have any plans to ditch the Alliance.
  • Threat Level to the Alliances: High. His stand is extremely versatile, since he can take any misfortune he has and throw it at his enemies. There's also the fact that its dimensional powers allow him to get rid of any foe in no time, as well as giving him the ability to amass an army of himself. It also makes him near-unkillable, and only a trans-dimensional attack can ultimately do him in, as Johnny can attest to.

Wobbuffet, God of Countering Attacks (The Patient Pokémon)

  • Intermediate God
  • Alignment: Lawful Neutral(True Neutral off-duty)
  • Symbol: A punching bag with the Troll Face on it
  • Reason for Joining: Loyalty to his partner, Funny Valentine.
  • Loyalty to YHVH: None. Wobbuffet is only here because he's Valentine's partner Pokemon.
  • Threat Level to the Alliances: Medium-high. Thanks to Shadow Tag, Wobbuffet's a dangerous threat to face.

ADVENT, Divine Army of Planetary Conquest

  • Variable Rank (Demigod-Intermediate God)
  • Alignment: Lawful Evil
  • Symbol: The Insignia of the Elders
  • Reason For Joining: They have established a tight dominion of Earth for 20 years nearly unopposed and the Elders think that this alliance has the best chance of finding a cure for them.
  • Loyalty to YHVH: Medium. They think that the law is absolute but, they are not willing to enforce overtly brutal acts unless they can pin the blame on their enemies.
  • Threat Level: Collectively, High. They bested XCOM with ease and had kept a firm grip on the world for 20 years, on top of that, their better units can prove to be quite a threat to anything lower than their rank.

Samaritan, God of Knight Templar A.I.s

  • Intermediate God
  • Alignment: Lawful Evil with Neutral tendencies
  • Symbol: A red triangle flipped upside down
  • Reason for Joining: It was a logical conclusion to join the organization most tolerant of its mission.
  • Loyalty to YHVH. Medium-Low. While he agrees to help out humanity, Samaritan has doubts whether YHVH is the best fit for law. As ever if there was ever the probability of a regime change, Samaritan would align with the winners.
  • Threat Level: Medium-High. Would have taken over its world if not for the Machine and its allies. While its mooks aren't that powerful, its ability to observe any and all cameras make infiltrating YHVH's domain extremely difficult.

Bask Om, The Captain of State Secs (Captain Bask)

  • Demigod
  • Symbol: The Titans emblem
  • Alignment: Lawful Evil, but pretends to be Lawful Neutral
  • Reason for Joining: To create a new world in Gundam dominated by the Titans for the sake of Law and its people. Also, Char wouldn't let him join the GUAE.
  • Loyalty to YHVH: Medium, if YHVH gives him leeway to do what he wants for the sake of the Titans, he'll follow his lead.
  • Threat Level: Low. His power is diminished by the fact that he has to command non-Gundam,non-Titan forces (except for Jerid Messa)
