Pantheon / GUAL Ministry Of The Word

This page is outdated due to faction reworks and will eventually be cut

The GUAL Ministry of the Word consists of the members of the Alliance dedicated to spreading YHVH's word to all corners of the Pantheon, and bringing back info on those who need to be...silenced. Despite being for the most part glorified messengers, many of these gods are powerhouses in their own right: blowing off what the stronger ones have to say is generally considered...unwise.

House Leader

Metatron, the Face and the Voice, Lesser YHVH, (Attendant of the Infinite, Mechanical Angel)

  • Intermediate God
  • Symbol: A large golden cross
  • Alignment: Lawful Good in his own mind (essentially because he follows his master's commands), Lawful Evil to anyone that does not follow him
  • Reason For Joining: His undying loyalty to his master, YHVH.
  • Loyalty to YHVH: Absolute. Unquestionable. He couldn't be more dedicated to YHVH if he tried.
  • Threat Level to the Alliances: Moderate. Metatron is referred to as the Lesser YHVH, and has enough power to back it up.

Other Members

Judge Claude Frollo, Celestial Being of Lustful Desires But Condemning It and the GUAL Ministry's Head Inquisitor

  • Demigod
  • Symbol: A Red-Cloaked Figure surrounded by fire.
  • Alignment: Lawful Evil (believes himself to be Lawful Good)
  • Reason for Joining: Viewed the GUAL as an organization most in line with his own beliefs: the GUAG is far too lenient in regards to 'vermin', the GUAE has too many demon lords and monsters for his taste, and the GUAC is run by the devil. Really, it was a matter of time.
  • Loyalty to YHVH: High. He believes YHVH is the god he worships.
  • Threat Level to the Alliances: Moderate: he is a fragile, if fanatical old man on his own. However, the darkness in his heart gives him an affinity toward the Heartless and Nightmare-Class Dream Eaters, and he is a surprisingly competent swordsman. Metatron has promised Frollo more power should the judge prove his loyalty.
  • Metatron's second-in-command.

Rassilon, God of Scientific Emperors (Lord-President of Gallifrey, The Narrator, Conquerer of Yssgaroth, Overpriest of Dronid, First Earl of Prydon, Patris of the Vortex, Ravager of the Void, Razz (Omega only))

  • Greater God
  • Symbol: The Great Seal of Rassilon
  • Alignment: Lawful Evil
  • Reason For Joining: To ensure his rule over Gallifrey and the Time Lords, and gather resources should the Final Sanction be needed.
  • Loyalty to YHVH: Low-Medium. They both share the vision for a perfect universe under a single voice, and while Rassilon would like to be that voice, YHVH is willing to allow it, as per the very nature of the Throne of Law, Rassilon would merely become the next Great Will.
  • Threat Level to the Alliances: High to Very High. He has enormous amounts of Time Lord technology and armies at his disposal, and commands immense respect in their society.

Omega, God of Being Pushed Into Villainy (Peylix, Omegon)

  • Greater God
  • Symbol: His Mask and The Great Hand of Omega
  • Alignment: Neutral Evil
  • Reason For Joining: He and Rassilon joined up together. It's pretty much a package deal.
  • Loyalty to YHVH: Medium. While he shares the vision, he trusts Rassilon more.
  • Threat Level to the Alliances: High. Even discounting the fact he's made of living antimatter, he's still a genius engineer responsible for half of all Time Lord tech.

Dr. Sofia Lamb, Goddess of Evil Mothers (Head of the Rapture Family, Dr. Lamb)

  • Intermediate Goddess
  • Symbol: A blue butterfly.
  • Alignment: Neutral Evil
  • Reason for Joining: Approached by Metatron, who hoped her background in psychiatry would allow him to better understand the human mind, so that it would be easier to turn them toward the Lord. Lamb accepted after Metatron showed her visions of YHVH's Millennium Kingdom.
  • Loyalty to YHVH: Moderate-High: the two have goals that fit perfectly.
  • Threat Level to the Alliances: Low on her own. Most of the smarter gods know Lamb is full of shit, but there are still those who she can dupe, and her knowledge of the human mind has allowed her to be an adviser to the rest of the Ministry. Working with other, savvier members increases her threat level to High, as she gains the means to set plans in motion with a far greater efficiency.

Alexander Anderson, God of Kicking Ass in the Name of the Lord (Father Anderson)

  • Lesser God Greater God when using the Nail
  • Symbol: His many many swords on hand. Alternatively, the Nail of Helena.
  • Alignment: Lawful Neutral with some dashes of Lawful Good
  • Reason for Joining: Iscariot is loyal to the Lord and no one else. He signed up after being sprung out of the GUAE's Re-Education Facility by a large contingent of angels.
  • Loyalty to YHVH: Medium. It is the Lord. Anderson knows all too well the need to exterminate monsters and infidels, but has vowed to curb the vicious aspect of the Great Will, feeling that it's too close to his former superior, Enrico Maxwell's, own depraved actions. Metatron admits to being intrigued by Anderson's code of conduct and unshakeable faith in the Lord, so he is willing to lend an ear to the paladin's concerns; if nothing else, he can gain insight in the workings of the human mind.
  • Threat Level to the Alliances: High. One considered to be a Worthy Opponent of frickin' Alucard is not one to be underestimated.
  • To sweeten the deal when he joined, Metatron gave him the Nail of Helena. Anderson accepted it, though he is careful not to use it except in the direst of circumstances; after all, directly channeling the power of the Lord through such an artifact turns him into a barely sentient beast filled with his Will. He sees this as far too close to Metatron's slow descent into inhumanity for comfort, and will exhaust every other option and beyond before considering using the Nail.
  • Many Iscariot members have followed their paladin's example and joined in after some wariness.

Klaus Wulfenbach, God of Validated Extremists (Baron of Europa, Greatest of Sparks, Lord of the Pax Transylvania)

  • Demigod
  • Symbol: A chess rook with wings.
  • Alignment: Lawful Ambiguous
  • Reason for Joining: The Pantheon needs order, as Europa did. Anarchy will not be tolerated.
  • Loyalty to YHVH: Medium-High. Wulfenbach appreciates how the Great Will understands the dangers of chaos and anarchy. The standing "zero tolerance" policies against either and the measures available (Kuzuryuu, the Ancient of Days) also meet with his approval. Mostly, he just wants to stop Going Over There to settle petty disputes.
  • Threat Level to the Alliances: Medium-Very High. He is a brilliant strategist, a great scientist and a prime candidate for command of the armies of Law.
  • Offered his services to tune-up and upgrade the highest-level Angels and the Cybermen. Given their usual composition, Metatron greenlit his idea with little opposition.

Victor von Doom, God of Villainous Decoys (Doctor Doom, The Apprentice, Infamous Iron Man)

  • Greater God
  • Symbol: The Latverian Flag
  • Alignment: Lawful Evil, with occasional more neutral or good leanings.
  • Reason for joining: In his own words "Doom shall play along with this game for it suits his purposes most nicely until of course the time comes when he no longer has need of said allies."
  • Loyalty to YHVH: Low-Medium. Certainly more devoted to the idea of One Will than he ever was to Melkor. He's very wary of YHVH, but is willing to go along with his vision (which he believes, is good, for a start) for the moment. Even should Doom betray the Great Will to assume personal power, he would still follow many of the same ideals. Same as Rassilon, YHVH's banking on Doom becoming but his next vessel should he actually succeed in usurping his title.
  • Threat level: Very High.

CLU 2, God of The Impossibility Of Perfection (Codified Likeness Utility 2.0, Clu, Excellency)

  • Theme Song: C.L.U
  • Greater God
  • Symbol: A Yellow Identity Disk
  • Alignment: Lawful Evil
  • Reason For Joining: Simple agreement with YHVH's dream of absolute order.
  • Loyalty to YHVH: Relatively High
  • Threat Level to the Alliances: High

Big Brother, God of Dystopia

  • Greater God
  • Symbol: A boot stamping on a human face.
  • Alignment: Lawful Evil
  • Portfolio: Tyranny, Propaganda, Politics, Ignorance, Power
  • Reason for joining: Simply to get more power.
  • Loyalty to YHVH: It's an alliance of political convenience. Sure, Melkor was easy to work under. But, in the end, all he cares about is keeping power, forever. Evil isn't a very good way to do that. Law, however, is.
  • Threat level: Insanely high. He's the big dog of propaganda, able to demoralize and manipulate people without effort, significantly softening entire societies for long periods of tyranny and oppression while quashing revolts before they've even started.

Adrian Veidt, God of Successfully Timed Plans(Ozymandias)

  • Lesser God
  • Symbol: His outfit in this button form
  • Alignment: Lawful Neutral/Lawful Evil (formerly Lawful Good)
  • Reason For Joining: YHVH offered to maintain his utopia for the forseeable future.
  • Loyalty to YHVH: Moderate. He's not as comfortable with his actions, but deems his presence Necessarily Evil
  • Threat Level to the Alliances: Relatively High. This is a man who Out-Gambitted among all things a near-omnipotent being. He's no slouch in the fighting department, capable of besting anyone of his level. One of the more dangerous minds in the group for sure.
