- When Naruto reveals to everyone that his own son cheated during the Chunin Exams, Boruto doesn't react well at all. He constantly moves his eyes from the ninja tech attached to his hand and back to Naruto.
- Buntan is shocked to learn that most of her fight with Sarada was just pure genjutsu.
- Namida has a constant terrified look on her face whenever she goes in missions.
- Not only mission, but any intense situation makes Namida give the look!
- When Kirara takes control over their bodies, Boruto and Sarada are petrified by the fact they will be forced to fight each other to death if they don't release themselves from Kirara's genjutsu.
- Kirara looks and screams in horror when she gets crushed by boulders, while Sarada just quips.Kirara: NO! STOPPP!!
- Played for Laughs during the Time Slip Arc, when a young Sakura comes to confront Sasuke about the letter Sarada left for him. Sasuke and Boruto are both petrified realizing that Sakura might figure out the truth if they don't come with a good excuse. Thankfully, Jiraya saves their asses with a made up story about Sasuke being a fanboy of him, which earns another Oh, Crap! reaction from Sasuke when he realizes he has no choice, but to go along.
- Before then, Sasuke is left completely speechless with that reaction as soon as Jiraya calls him by his full name.
- Shojoji acts very smug against Sai and Ibiki when they interrogate him, until Sasuke enters the room. His smugness is quickly replaced by fear and his voice cracks down immediately.
- Played for Laughs when Tsubaki insults the shinobi in front of Sarada, who was trying to diffuse an argument. Namida and Cho-Cho wears this expression as soon as Sarada starts Burning with Anger and steam rises from her head like a boiling kettle.
- During Team's 7 first battle with Deepa, Sarada creates an opening for Boruto to use his Rasengan against him. Deepa makes the typical villainous wide mouth while screaming, only to reveal he was just making a "Oh, Crap!" Fakeout. Is Boruto who has such a terrified look on his face that even the camera focuses on his eyes to convey his all-consuming horror.
- Shinki is not the kind of person to be fazed not even in the worst situations, yet Deepa still terrifies him with his power.
- Orochimaru is still same creeper even when he is Played for Laughs. He scared Iwabee, Metal Lee and Denki so much with his simple presence, that all three started to sweat and have the blue-shading on their foreheads.
- During her training session with Sakura, Sarada is terrified enough of Sakura's power and speed to fall to her knees.
- Victor has some precious expressions when something goes against him.
- In episode 175, he thinks that his God Tree will grant him a forbidden fruit, only to look in horror while he gets trapped inside the tree.
- Happens again in episode 181, where Victor has multiple Oh, Crap! reactions. First, when everyone agrees that Koji should be the one to retrieve the vessel; second when he realized that Koji was in the room with him the whole time when the Kara meeting was held through genjutsu; and third, just before Koji kills him through spontaneous combustion.
