Pendulum Channel
- How Sora is shown to be brainwashed in Episode 2 has him licking a lollipop as numerous thoughts tell him that he's a compliant good little boy and will never question anything.
- Before he leaves, he sees Yoko constantly washing an already clean frying pan with a big smile on her face.
- Somehow Specter and another person (Takeru given that the name "Theodore" was his dub name) entered the saccharine Maiami City multiple times as Yuya shows Specter (Daiki) him repeating a certain phrase ad infinitum.
- When Shuzo starts probing into things (he says that Yuya is doing something again), Yuya refuses to listen and everything turns black.
- Yuya hallucinates Shuzo berating him on how he's not really helping others as he is forcing his ideas of paradise onto them and has to see hundreds of people with stretched out grins staring down at him.Shuzo: Are these the smiles you want?!
- Shuzo tells Yuya that what he's doing will cause a mess worse than Akaba's meddling. Yuya denies it as we see how shredded his sanity has become.
Yuya: Me trying to frame an innocent duelist for a crime he didn’t commit? Me causing an interdimensional war and the genocide of the Xyz dimension because of the way they play their cards? Me creating a near societal breakdown in Neo-Domino and heartless soldiers arresting innocent folk trying to live? Me turning a school of dueling into a military camp and brainwashing people with lies?” (giggling) I’d never do anything of the sort. I’m making a brand new lovely Smile World!” - Yusho has to see a scene of Yuya happily eat pancakes while his brothers are forced to smile and are tearing up without anyone to help them.
- While it's played for laughs, the idea that Zarc had to make contracts and agreements in order to make his "paradise" happen...contracts and compromises with who or what?
Synchro Channel
- The first Parody Commercial is promoting Dimensional Pendulums. Laugh Maker appears to young Yuya and gives them these said pendulums that give him three new friends (or in his case, his dimensional counterparts). But when he gives a girl who is suspiciously familiar to him (Yuzu), the three boys disappear and the girl cries as the host happily ends the commercial with Yuya going to a door to save his new friends. Now, remember what happens if the three boys disappear and leaves Yuya alone...
- Also note that Performapal Laugh Maker's card has purple hair. The Laugh Maker in the commercial has silver hair and golden eyes.
- How Yusei became Z-One. Before his Emergency Transformation, he's somewhat stuck in ICU where he's given several "home movies" to watch with Placido where he sees imagery from seeing Aporia's parents died to of Neo-Domino City being destroyed.
- The fact Z-One manages to capture the ghost of Jack Atlas and leaves him with Kiryu, who is also converted into a cyborg with tentacles on his back. The way it's describe is eerie, with the subtelty just creeping in and your mind finally reacting as to what's going on.
- How about the fact that Jack ended up like a ghost that can't interact with the physical world? What did Zarc do to render Jack Atlas into this state?!
- Before Yusei rescued him, Kiryu is described as being more skeletal than an actual skeleton, due to being isolated and starved in preparation for his execution.
Fusion Channel
- Haou is still lurking inside Jaden without him knowing, and is still as powerful and angry as ever. And he still isn't able to beat Zarc.
- The Creepy Cathedral that the school has devolved into, complete with a pack of Stepford Smiler atoning students. And then there's what Zane has done to himself...
