- The Wolverine clones are very scary. Not only are they the most ferocious of all the enemies encountered, they have three lives each. This means when you kill one, it will suddenly wake up again after a minute of being idle. Not only is that unnerving in itself, but there's no sound whatsoever to warn you of their revival. If you're facing one for the first time, it can be quite jarring to have killed one and then later be ambushed by their razor sharp claws when returning to a room to further progress.
- Apocalypse himself is freakishly giant during the boss battle, and is constantly smashing at the ground.
- The game takes place after The Bad Guy Wins. The Hub Level takes place in the X-Mansion, completely void of life other than Gateway who doesn't say or do anything and is very much Uncanny Valley.
