Mother of god!
  • The bad ending is pure nightmare fuel. Toby never breaks out of his madness, forcing a monster to chase you around a recreation of your house and then 'murdering' you over and over again, presumably forever.
  • Toby's fate. Because he refused to fit into society's black-white views, he was put into a bright, pink house and nobody is allowed to enter. Talking to Toby yields nothing but stating that he is in a trance-like state. The only reaction comes from when Blanca initially enters and stands too long in front of the TV. One of the endings reveals that Toby willingly remained behind in his imagination, because he couldn't handle reality.
  • Blends with tear-jerker, but Toby murdering his mother is as sad as it is scary. They had a good relationship, with him stating that his mom was great. The horror starts when, if you (Blanca) choose to stare at the portrait of Toby and his mother, you'll see there's blood splattered everywhere on top of his mom's face.
  • Toby's world of oppression and misery (as shown in the example image). The world turns a deep shade of red and black, with weird eyes staring or hands grabbing at him. And those cute, blue little bunnies you encountered and played with earlier? Are now turned into mindless, vicious monsters that attack Toby and Blanca. And the noise they make, when talked to! A raspy, gasping sound not unlike zombies desiring to eat flesh. Except it's worse, because it doesn't just sound like they want to bite into you; Lenna straight up says "Help me". They're in unspeakable agony and unable to think rationally because of Toby's madness. They probably don't really want to kill you...
  • The real world isn't much better, especially with the town's bulletin board having more direct messages of how one must fit in with their society, work hard and not stand out. Even going so far as to say that any child that stands out will be taken care of by the government, but the parents are... to be taken care of. Especially when it hits Blanca's father, who doesn't show up for the rest of the game or whose fate is revealed.
    • How horrific it is to think that the parents of children who 'disobey' are 'removed'? They're probably murdered. Parents being forced to leave their kids behind is tragic, but on top of that the children are to take the blame for their parent's 'disappearance'. "See, timmy? If you had never been a bad kid, your father might still be here!"
  • The GODDAMN billboards. They're crudely drawn, uncanny and Blanca thinks they're watching her...because they are. When she walks back home one time at night, you get some good ol' jumpscares.
