• The nature of the Black Goo, it's corrosive, biological and quite possibly sentient.
  • It's actually an alien hivemind that consumes matter to reproduce and evolve.
• Derelix.
• The Easter Eggs hidden in some of the later updates, for the readers to unravel within the discussion thread. They mostly consist of creepy imagery of things just as bad as what was in Derelix and creepy noises... Worse, they seem to imply that there is some sort of creature for whom the "tree" in Derelix was just his tail... and in the page where Slick did an X-Ray scan of the elevator another such thing can be traced out in the background!
  • The Easter Egg in the motorcycle ride shows a glimpse of Connie's corruption from the black goo.. ^Hint Click on Connie's helmet when the music stops.
  • The one in the the dance sequence reveals the full extent of Connie's condition, to the point that merely touching her was setting off Slick's alarms. ^Hint Click on the 'Dance' button whenever it turns blue, the music should clue you in on it. Alternatively, press '0' to set it to auto mode and let it reveal itself.
• Some of the lore in LuFa's blog reveals unsettling details not seen in the comic, like a mental condition that puts people into an immobile trance and a subject's first-hand account at being submerged and absorbed by the black goo.
• The end of the intermission. Pvt. Chambers finds himself being resurrected by a mysterious object and attempts to revive Wolf, who somehow needs his arms for some reason.
