Nightmare Fuel / Ulysses 31

• There's something frightening about the omniscient, implacable, cosmic horror-ish and corrupting power of the gods of Olympus, who are Cosmic Entities Ulysses can't do anything against outside of doing his best to emerge victorious from the various traps they throw him into. The track titled The Curse of the Gods, especially the Shepard Tone in the beginning, perfectly underscores it.
• The witch on the moon of Zotra turned all the adult Zotrians living there to stone. Their shadows are still seen running.
• The ending of "The Seat of Forgetfulness" where Ulysses is faced with a Sadistic Choice (one among many that the sadistic gods will put him through): choosing to return to Earth and leave his children behind, or having his children given back to him. He chooses his children... then the Gods and the Parcae tell him that he will FORGET EVERYTHING, and he falls down a seemingly endless abyss... Fortunately, the gods respect Ulysses' resolve and Undying Loyalty to his children and crew, and everyone is suddenly back on the Odysseus.
• Circe turning the humans she captures into zombified humanoid pigs.
• In the Kingdom of Hades, the dead are motionless and turn their back to the living, but at the same time they are attracted by the living and get closer. Whatever they touch withers and dies.
