- When they were kids Cardin invited Yang and Ruby to his house on Patch Island. While they were not looking Ruby has been left alone with his dog. If the prospect of leaving a small child with a big dog wasn't nightmarish enough in itself, something bad did go wrong. Carding argues that the dog was old and completely harmless, but Ruby ended up killing her which leaves her feeling guilty even a decade later.
