- The prologue in which Pinhead dispatches the last six magicians in the world, written in Clive's typical Gorn prose. One is gruesomely disemboweled by Pinhead's hooks; one is literally torn to ribbons by said hooks; one dies giving birth to a demon girl who cannibalizes the body; one has been brought back to life by his colleagues and suffers the indignity of being killed by Pinhead twice as a result (the first time by being disemboweled through his asshole by hook, this time by having parasitic worms eating his body from the inside); and one dies of fright after witnessing the whole spectacle. The only one who talks Pinhead into sparing him is Felixson, but...
- One would think that being spared the torturous deaths of his colleagues would make him the lucky one, but he essentially trades his freedom for a life as the Hell Priest's dog. A fate that includes the typical Cenobite makeover. Next time we see him, he is described as having had his head sawn open down the middle, leaving his tongue hanging out of his mutilated mouth. The two halves of his head are also pushed apart by a metal rod, giving him a vaguely reptilian look.
- Demons are on Earth, they're not bound by any particular rules, the only thing protecting you is your personal Weirdness Censor, and nobody cares if that gets broken.
- Thought Lemarchand's puzzle box would keep Pinhead off your back, as long as you weren't stupid enough to solve it? Guess again.
