It's a long story

  • If you are quick enough, you get to see the corpse of Edward leaning against a table, on which is the destroyed dollhouse, very briefly illuminated by a lightening strike. You get to visit that scene again at the end of the game, this time with a permanent light source to give you plenty of time to study the grisly scene.
  • The tentacles devouring each room of the dollhouse after you take an artefact box away
  • Edward's realisation that he was trapped in his own home due to the effects of the Null long after his wife escaped.
Edward: I am a rat in the cage, but only now do I see the bars.
  • The Wham Shot in the end of The Circle in their temple. Or more specifically, a known evil organisation is now shown to have several Null crystals. And you have helped them get another one.
    • Chilling in another way if you've discovered the Easter Egg of the other radio messages, which implies that the conspirators surrounding you have decided that You Have Outlived Your Usefulness and won't let you leave their temple alive.
    • Take a close look at the central altar where H places the retrieved Null crystal. It's another seal, much bigger than the one on the dollhouse's attic, with similar crystals already in place on several of its symbols. What's going to happen if/when the Circle can gather enough Null to fill in the few remaining symbols with similar crystals...?
  • The last words from the crew of the Rose are very chilling too
Crew member: Three days of fog has set us off course even further, at five degrees north. Such delays is all we have known since taking the [Santa] Helena's only survivor on-board. He claws at his cell door, desperate for the return of his artifact.
Crew member: Master tells me we are 85 degrees west, but still the coast eludes us. I have not slept since we dredged that lunatic and his strange artifact from the wreck of the Helena. I am not the only one.
  • The visions of Edward's destructive temper tantrums are rather disturbing, particularly the second in which he vindictively trashes Abigail's beloved art studio. One can't help but suspect that Abigail would have been wise to get out while she could, at that point, even if nothing supernatural had been happening at all....
