- Dr. Holden gets his heart punched right out of his chest and doesn't die. He survives long enough to have his heart weighed by Anubis and dies screaming as head melts away to the bone. What, if anything, happens to his soul is not discussed.
- As of the end of the film the pyramid is open, and Anubis is free to come and go as he pleases.
