This movie's version of The Phantom feels less like a new take on the classic character and more like some sort of unholy combination of Freddy Krueger and Leatherface. They even got Robert Englund to play him!
While The Phantom's makeup is surprisingly tame for such a Bloodier and Gorier re-imagining of the story, the mask he wears is horrifying. Rather than a simple theatrical mask, he wears a mask made from the flesh of his victims.
