Nightmare Fuel / The Muppets' Wizard of Oz

• Piggy's Villain Song sequence. She orders her minions to attack the Scarecrow and the Tin Man...and boy, was this scary for those who grew up with the Muppets. Seeing Scarecrow!Kermit being torn to shreds by the winged monkeys, and Tin Man!Gonzo losing his head and having his decapitated body run away like a headless chicken, all commanded by the Wicked Witch of the West (played by, even creepier, an alternate Miss Piggy) is pretty scary.
  • Though when the plot returns to the decapitated Kermit and Gonzo later, they do lighten the mood a bit via Noodle Implements.
• The Wicked Witch of the West melting in her bathtub (it was filled with tap water and not bottled water). The fact that she turns into a long, skinny sock puppet as she melts doesn't help, it only makes it freakier.
• Since Dorothy refuses to remove her shoes, the Witch decides to cut off her feet with huge, bloodstained buzzsaws.
