If it wasn't enough that this is a found footage movie about Sasquatch, there's more than one. And if that wasn't enough the sasquatches are trying to drive away the humans, to protect them from another monster in the woods.
On their first night, the sasquatches circle the cabin. Complete with roaring, banging and loud footsteps. At one point the characters see something walk across the window.
The aftermath of the encounter, we see claw marks on the walls outside the cabin. That and The Reveal that something else is in the woods too.
Kevin freaking out because he heard something communicating on the headphones.
Everything about the mystery monster that the Sasquatches are protecting people from. Sean's last words when he first gets a good look at it say it all; "It's not a Bigfoot...IT'S NOT A BIGFOOT".
Kevin's encounter with the thing, when he's walking back to the van with a face cam, until he notices it coming towards him, and the camera still focuses on his face as it rips him apart.
Robyn's encounter with the beast, when she realizes its coming and tries to flee to the van; it catches up to her and flips her over the truck. She tries to crawl away only for her to drag her offscreen. We see her body collapse beside the van, and whatever it was to drag her lower half away infront of the camera.
Darryl initially survived his confrontation with the monster...only to shoot himself in the head afterwards with a Thousand-Yard Stare on his face.
Darryl's breakdown in the climax, for most of the movie he's a Deadpan SnarkerJerk with a Heart of Gold - when it's down to him and Sean, he's freaking out, and goes to confront their attacker with a gun, shouting, shooting and swearing at whatever's out there and when he comes back inside after seeing it he shoots himself.That's how you knowthat the shit has hit the fan.
