- Kai and Benjamini seemingly burning to death.

- The zombies rising from their graves.
- Later they pull Adam and Mira underground.

- Kai, Reeve, Skeet, and Vanessa frozen in giant blocks of ice.
- The ice monster in its entirety.
- Kai getting dangerously close to a trio of sharks.

Season 2
Hollow Life itself
- A company has been scanning the minds of teenagers so people can pay to psychologically torment them. They scans aren't supposed to be sapient, and the abuse is apparently supposed to remain PG rated. But the technology of the setting means one or both limits can be bypassed - which means someone will eventually do so.
