Nightmare Fuel / Song of Horror

• You think you're fine, everything's going alright — and then suddenly your active character is picked off by something, dead all but instantly. Then the game establishes that they were Killed Off for Real, and that can happen to everyone else. Even worse, you could load a save and try to keep that initial character alive.. but then whatever got you the first time might not even be there anymore. You can't totally predict what's lethal and what isn't.
• Not even animals are safe. If you play Alexander in the first episode, he'll comment that the Hushers' dog is missing, and in the garage there can be a jumpscare where the garage door shudders and you can hear a dog whimpering.
• The Ending shows the very first time you hold the door closed to keep the entity away, with Daniel trying to get through the gap outside before the door slams shut. Meaning he was lost from the very beginning and the entity at all time has possession of all people it swallowed, no matter if they are still alive or not. It is unknown if that is the case even before they are born or only happens after they hear the song.
