Per wiki policy, Spoilers Off applies here and all spoilers are unmarked. You Have Been Warned.

  • A deleted scene shows a innocent naive Claude taking a walk out to the haystacks and chasing a butterfly when he stumbled upon the horrific sight of Lucie's corpse.
  • The opening showing a young Valerie and Peter killing a white rabbit so that he could make her a pair of boots for winter. The view of the knife against it's throat and the poor rabbit's squeak.
  • As narm-y as it is, there is something quite unsettling about a flashback showing Valerie as a child holding a dead white rabbit in one hand and a small hunting knife in the other.
  • Adrien being ambushed and murdered by The Wolf. His screams echoing in the caves and his innards being ripped out.
  • The common grey wolf in the caves growling at Henry as he attempts to fend it off.
  • As Peter and Valerie makeout in the wheat grainery, there's a first person view of someone or something watching them, waiting to strike. Thankfully it turned out to be a jealous Henry but still.
  • The Wolf's attack on the party as the townspeople were celebrating the Wolf's "death". Father Solomon did warn them.
  • Suzette being ambushed in her bed by the Wolf and scratched across the face. Nearly blinding her. The fact that the Wolf can easily break into people's houses while they're sleeping.
  • A few close-up shots focused on some of the suspect's brown eyes (Madame Lazar, Prudence, Father August, Grandmother, Peter, Henry) can be a little unsettling.
  • As Father Solomon tried to sacrifice Valerie, The Wolf attacks Father Solomon and bites his hand clean off. The hand falls to the ground, followed immediately by gushing blood and Father Solomon's painful screaming.
  • The nightmare Valerie has of her grandmother: she's lying in bed next to her and suddenly notices what big eyes her Grandmother has. Grandmother then flashes a uncanny creepy wide smile as Valerie comments on what big ears she has. Just as Valerie takes notice of her big teeth, Grandmother's voice deepens to a unnatural low evil tone and kills Valerie while a wolf snarl is heard. It's enough to make Valerie spring upright from her feverish slumber.
  • Valerie calling out for Peter as she's overcome with confusion and delirium and falls unconscious due to head trauma. Followed by a nightmare she has of her Grandmother.
  • Valerie arriving at her Grandmother's house when she sees a shadowy figure arise. It's Grandmother nursing a cold so she sits down to eat some soup. Soon, Grandmother keeps telling her in an unsettling voice, "that's right. Eat up...". As Valerie takes a few bites of the bloody red soup, she becomes uncomfortable and asks what is it. Then Grandmother's figure rises only it isn't Grandmother at all but actually Cesaire in disguise. And he just tricked Valerie into eating her Grandmother's remains.
  • Cesaire easily overpowering Peter (and not in his Wolf form) and attempting to kill him in Grandmother's house. The sight of his supernaturally gold eyes while still in his human form.
  • Cesaire willing to turn his own daughters into werewolves. He lost control and killed Lucie when he discovered she wasn't his child, and when Valerie refuses to become a werewolf like him, Cesaire still attempts to turn her against her will.
  • The flashback showing Lucie being cornered by The Wolf out by the haystacks. How terrified she looked before she died.
  • The idea of your child being lured to an undisclosed location away from home by a forged message and then being killed by someone or something.
  • Poor Claude is accused of being The Wolf and stuffed inside a brazen bull where he suffers an agonizing death just screaming. All because of suspicions over his mental disability and his love for magic tricks.
  • The uncomfortable atmosphere as the young Roxanne attempted to sell her body to Father Solomon in exchange for her brother's life being spared. He just laughs it off and sends her away.
  • Valerie being bound and tied up and used as a sacrifice for The Wolf. Her face obscured by the Wolf shape metal mask. A few claustrophobic shots of her first person view from inside the mask as well. And the sounds of her panicked hollow breathing.
  • Peter being accused of being The Wolf and thrown into the brazen bull, which thankfully wasn't lit on fire at the time. His attempts to escape the torture contraption and his screams for Valerie begin to sound more monsterous.
  • At the celebration party, a woman gets attacked by The Wolf, her neck audibly snaps and her corpse goes flying across the ground with blood dripping from the mouth.
  • Valerie and Roxanne being cornered by The Wolf as they tried to escape to safety.
