- The Planet Eater, especially the suggestions that someone else created it.
- The And I Must Scream fate of the neural templates.
- The fact that even the Fedork's engineers wouldn't rate the shuttles as space-worthy.
- The serial killer who used a duplicator so he could abuse and murder the same woman over and over again.
- The fact that a government would intentionally bankrupt its own people like this one did...Or the fact this event , where he intentionally provoked a catastrophe for supposedly the planet's own good is told from the point of view of the "hero" of the story ...Which means he could be a case of him wrecking a planet because he didn't like fiat currency ! Despite what the author might think commodity currency had known a fair amount of crises, including the great depression, which was the most destructive of all depressions in history! And most economists agree that fiat money is a better system.

- Skyfall.
- And the reasons why... and the response to it. That could just as easily have been on earth. Some men just want to watch the world burn.
- The fact that the catastrophe, horrible as it was, was the best case scenario.....Or so we are told.
- The fact that now there is an Imperium of Man Expy invading their galaxy. And every WH40K fan knows that no matter how much they like it, it is a horrible place to be.
