Nightmare Fuel / Primal Rage

• Four words: "The Feast of Sauron", which shows several torn up corpses by Sauron's jaws Do not beat the arcade version with Sauron if you want to sleep tonight. It's even animated on the Sega Saturn port!
• Equally bad is the "Diablo's Hell" ending, which is Exactly What It Says on the Tin - Diablo turns the whole world into a living Hell, tormenting the remaining humans on New Urth while only sparing the cruel and vicious, and those who die become skeletons hanging from the pillars and poles.
• The final battle is your average Boss Rush, which is set in a dark, barren wasteland with piles of human and dinosaur remains scattered across the area, appropriately named the "Graveyard". Furthermore, defeating the rest of the Gods instantly makes them decompose and permanently leave their skeletons behind the fighting arena.
• Most of the cast's various brutal fatalities can come off as this. Definite mentions go to Sauron and Talon's.
