- Babylon 5 has a creature called the Na'ka'leen Feeder. Hailing from the planet Na'ka'leen, it can float behind you in complete silence and eat your mind, and if you have encountered one and escaped chance is you've been infected and one will show up at the worst moment to restart the cycle. For obvious reason, the Centauri quarantined their world and developed procedures to identify the infection... And in this story an Orieni exploration flotilla violates the quarantine, and one of the Feeder-infested ships, still with some desperate crew on board, almost reaches an inhabitated world before being found and destroyed by a Centauri patrol.
- If you get a look at the maps included with the material on which the story is based, you see which are the three closest systems to Na'ka'leen: from closest to fartest, they are Rogoth, Alpha 2, and Centauri Prime.
- At some point, both sides provoked the Minbari, provoking their reaction. The Curb-Stomp Battle a Minbari squadron inflicts on larger Centauri and Orieni forces at the same time is rather bad and seen by the Centauri and Orieni point of view, and what they do to the Centauri raiders... Well, the ship carried an antimatter converter...
