- Decker in general is a crowning moment of Nightmare Fuel. He's a calm, polite psychiatrist by day, and by night, a masked Serial Killer who targets families.
- The scene where he kills the Rickmans. He cuts Melissa's throat, then Louis', and finally kills their young son offscreen. All while displaying the utmost calm.
- His misanthropic Motive Rant when he's interrogating an old man is chilling.
Decker: See, I've cleaned up a lot of breeders, families like cesspools; filth making filth making filth. And I did it over and over and over again, but it was all leading me here ... I was born to destroy Boone ... and the 'Breed together.
Victim: You're crazy!
Decker: No, I'm death. Plain and simple.- Towards the end of the movie, it's clear that he's falling off the slippery slope fast. He no longer butchers anyone with the calculated precision that he showed when he killed the Rickmans, and instead beheads, stabs, and slashes on a whim, all to frame Boone and see the 'Breed destroyed.
- In the theatrical cut at the end, he's revived as an undead serial killer.
- While Lori is walking through the catacombs of Midian, she encounters many horrific-looking 'Breed members. Granted, the 'Breed are the good guys, but the sheer amount of Body Horror in this scene alone is unnerving.
