• In this game’s 2019 Updated Re-release, Natica gains a voice actress. By the developer's direction, said voice actress is shown to be really good at vocalizing Natica’s drowning noises, possibly moreso than any other voiced Fox Eye character. Now... with that said, when Natica’s Oxygen Meter goes empty, she sounds nothing short of graphically and realistically horrifying as she gurgles underwater and desperately struggles to breathe in her last few seconds of consciousness. The end result of her drowning shows that she Dies Wide Open. If you stay on the screen without doing anything for a little while, you'll see that this remains entirely animated, showing Natica completely motionless, but nonetheless having her drowned corpse slowly flip and twirl around in the water. Brrrr...
  • If Natica is just mere seconds away from drowning, and very barely manages to catch a breath of air, she rises from the water’s surface not with a comforting gasp, but instead with such a sharp and loud shriek that it could unintentionally be a Jump Scare. The fact that she gets a painful coughing fit along with this for a moment shows how hard she had to restrain her lungs from inhaling water. All of this is further Truth in Television in regards to having a near-asphyxiation experience. This can end up being Mood Whiplash (which can be unintentionally scary in and of itself), however, if this occurs after getting all of the stars in the level, which will then play the upbeat title screen/main menu music, abruptly cut off Natica’s strained breathing during her happy Victory Pose, and go straight into her medal cheer as if nothing happened.
