- Charlie Huston's run on Moon Knight. It explained that the reason Moon Knight hadn't been seen for years was that he'd gotten into a fight with Raoul Bushman, his nemesis. He'd had his knees broken during the fight, so in revenge, Moon Knight cut off Bushman's face. And why did Bushman and Moon Knight get into the fight in the first place? Bushman had been sicced onto Moon Knight by a group of suits who wanted to fuck up Moon Knight's life as best they could.
- Marc kept Bushman's face and wore it over his own like a mask one night. Marlene saw him do this and was rightfully horrified.
- Moon Knight was going to cut off Bushman's face again, and being utterly terrified of him, Bushman begged him not to do it again.
- This is just the tip of the iceberg. Marc Spector (Moon Knight's real identity) started having visions of an Egyptian God (Khonshu) telling him to kill everyone in his name. Was it the real Khonshu? Who knows, but it's not exactly like he's gone away.
- Khonshu's whole design; a giant imposing white figure with a giant bird skull for a head. The inverted colors of his text bubbles only add to his ominous nature. Whether he is real or a fabrication of Marc's broken mind makes no difference to how creepy he is.
- After getting the cape back on, Moon Knight takes this brutal murder to most of the criminal scum he continued to fight. Some of the stuff he did was real heroic quality. Except for all of the parts where it wasn't.
- His former sidekick Midnight returns, half-cyborg. Since he wants to be killed, and Marc refuses, Midnight gets into a violent fight with Moon Knight, climaxing when he tied Moon Knight to a giant clock and slicing open his back.
- He also mind fucked a psychiatrist into saying that he was sane so that he could work for the government. Brilliant.
- Mr. Knight encounters a villain fronting as a janitor whose powers are producing sweat that allows him to mind control anyone who tastes it. He managed to gather a small army of elderly people with his army, all of whom are ready to kill Mr. Knight.
- Mr. Knight decides to challenge the janitor’s mental power by digesting the sweat voluntarily and inviting him into his mind, promising him he's never seen anything like what's in there. One extremely harrowing experience later, the janitor is knocked out, mouth foaming, and Mr. Knight walks out unscathed…
- Bullseye decides to have a shot at the Fist of Khonshu himself and he is very, very driven to have Moon Knight go all out with him. He flat-out yells for him to come out and demonstrate who this psycho of a superhero who cut off a guy's face he keeps hearing about is truly like in a fight to the death.Bullseye: THIS is all you've got?! Where's the psycho?! Where's the cold-blooded killer everyone's so worked up about?! ENOUGH WITH THE FOREPLAY! I WANT TO GET IT ON!
