The body is still there, decapitated and disembowelled, and then Dean enters a flashback and gets to see everything that happened. In spite of this, Dean tries to encourage his dad.
  Dean: Grandpa survives!...they'll be sending him your head soon.
  • Enera enters with a bucket and tosses it at Kia. It was full of his family's blood.
  • And then, just before it ends, she looks to the side and sees Dean.
  Enera: See you soon.
• Then while fleeing the temple, another demon attacks Dean. This time it shifts into Merno, and speaks plainly.
  Demon: We take him to Enera or we take you. You decide. We've hurt him before and we'll do it again. Her threats are not empty.
• Enera's stronghold is decorated with scores of demon slayers hanging over the walls.
• The scenes of Dean in Enera's stronghold live up to the comic's permanent content warning. Enera chains Dean up, slices his ear off, cuts open his forearm and pulls it apart, then splits him stomach to chest. Holy shit. And the whole time she's taunting him that his stunt at the temple let her know that a Kiata survived, and the only reason he got 18 years was her being nice.
