Trans-X is a Canadian synthpop group consisting of Pascal Languirand as the only permanent member. There are different people who tour with him and band members who came and left.
They are known for their song “Living on Video” which charted worldwide. The song also was sampled by musicians throughout time.

- Gratuitous French: Since they’re from Quebec, which is more French-influenced than other parts of Canada, in the chorus for “Living on Video” they say “Sur un faisceau de lumière”.
