- Album Title Drop: Downplayed in that it doesn't mention the actual title but the "What Did You Expect from" part of the first album comes from "Post Break-Up Sex".
- Break Up Song: Some of their songs are this, including "Wreckin' Bar (Ra Ra Ra), which is about a relationship going downhill.
- Intercourse with You: The rather obvious "Post Break-Up Sex".
- One-Woman Song: "Nørgaard", which is named after a Danish model Justin went on a double date with even though she didn't return his feelings.
