- "Strangers" is about feeling lonely in the presence of the person who you thought was the one but eventually realizing that it was never going to working out.

- "Don't Feel Like Crying" is about trying to move on after a break-up instead of crying because of it.
- Brother–Sister Team: Her older brother Tellef Raabe is a singer too and Sigrid is featuring on his songs "Sister" and "Flying on the Ground".

- The Grovel: Defied in "Focus":Don't let me crawl to you
'Cause I'm not that kind of girl
I will not degrade myself
Even if it means that we are not a "we" - Homesickness Hymn: "Home to You" is about Sigrid longing to be back home with her family while traveling the world:Couldn't wait till I got outside wondering what the world'd be like
I knew I had to change my mind, didn't realize it would happen all so soon, all so soon
But I see the world so different now
But there's a place by the sea and that's my town
When I don't know what to say, when I don't know what to do
There's a room I need to sit in, surround by my favorite view
When I need a hand to hold, someone to tell the truth
Would it be okay if I came home to you? - Lonely Piano Piece: "Dynamite" and "Focus" are melancholic songs with only Sigrid's voice accompanied by a piano.
