Sabrina Annlynn Carpenter (born May 11, 1999 in Lehigh Valley, Pennsylvania) is an American actress and singer.
Carpenter rose to fame in 2013, when she was cast as Maya Hart in Girl Meets World, along with Rowan Blanchard. From there, she branched off into both music and acting, appearing in a number of other television shows, and releasing her debut album, Eyes Wide Open, in 2015.
For a little while at the start of the 2020s, she was mainly known as the supposed third party — the infamous "blonde girl" in the worldwide smash hit "drivers license" — in Olivia Rodrigo's romance with Joshua Bassett. (Carpenter would later release a song that seemingly addressed the drama, titled "because i liked a boy.") As a bit of time passed, however, Carpenter came into her own as a pop star, earning recognition for her own music. She is now mainly known as a racy pop star, a far cry from her Disney Channel days.
Her aunt is Nancy Cartwright. She is currently in a high-profile relationship with Barry Keoghan.
