Reboot Me is a series of songs created by Jakeneutron. The first song, "Reboot Me", sets up the scene by introducing Ele.OS, a sentient operating system who has been waiting for her owner for the past 17 years. As the series goes on, we learn why her owner had suddenly abandoned her, as well as learning that Ele.OS isn't all what she seems. The most recent installment of the series has Ele.OS finally deciding to deal with the glitches that have been plaguing her for so long.
So far, there have not been any new lyrical songs being made, but there is a Friday Night Funkin' mod being made called Friday Night Funkin': Reboot Me. It is currently in development, but the Gamejolt page can be found here.
On December 4th, 2020, an album was released with all of Ele.OS' and VIRI's songs, for Reboot Me's second anniversary!
On Christmas 2021, Jakeneutron posted a mod called Friday 4 Fun, involving three weeks. The first one being against Jakeneutron's original character, Ramses Jackson, the second against a version of him who is desperate to get a PS5, and the third is a demo of FNF: Reboot Me, with a teaser trailer of the full version at the end! the Gamejolt page can be found here.
Not to be confused with Reboot, another series involving sentient computer programs.

These songs provide examples of the following tropes:
- A.I. Is a Crapshoot: While VIRI definitely counts as this, a much bigger example is seen in a freeze-frame bonus in So Open's lyric video. one of the folders at around 4:55 says "Dangers Of Singularity" Implying that Ele.OS could potentially fall into this category.
- Artificial Intelligence: The majority of the (named) characters are AI.
- Break the Cutie: Poor Ele.OS.
- Breather Episode: The various songs that are related to Jakeneutron's channel (Please Subscribe, Introducing Memberships, etc.) are not canon and usually much more lighthearted than the rest of the series.
- BSoD Song / Heroic BSoD: Reboot Me is almost a literal case.
- Computer Virus: VIRI is one. a ransomware, specifically.
- Crossover: Reboot Your Reality is this between Reboot Me and Doki Doki Literature Club!
- Friday Night Funkin': Reboot Me is this with Friday Night Funkin'.
- Dark Secret: apparently Ally's father had one involving Ele.OS...
- Disappeared Dad: Ally has one.
- Downer Beginning: Reboot Me is about Ele.OS being abandoned and is the first part of the series.
- Freeze-Frame Bonus: lots. Especially in the Reboot Me Competition Edition Music Video. Enough to justify its own page!
- "The Hero Sucks" Song: So Open has shades of it.
Sorry to say but you are cracked
She won't want you she's moved on so
go to sleep give up your console
NOW
- Hidden Eyes: VIRI has these in the So Open official animatic.
- Indecipherable Lyrics: Because the lyrics to Into Oblivion are not written down anywhere, it can be difficult to understand the lyrics.
- Inside a Computer System: Where the series takes place. The different computer programs are all characters.
- Interquel: Into Oblivion is this for Reboot Me and So Open, acting as a transition song between the two.
- I Will Wait for You: A platonic variant is the whole plot of Reboot Me.
- Love Doodles: you can see that Ally has drawn one at the very beginning of the Reboot Me music video.
- Lyrical Dissonance: Reboot Me. It has a nice, happy-sounding melody, but is about Ele.OS being abandoned.
- Please Subscribe's second verse keeps the same cheery melody from the first, but the lyrics are about how Ele.OS feels like she isn't good enough and how she misses her owner.
- Error Error. It sounds happy, but the lyrics are about how Ele feels like she's losing herself. Subverted, though, when she decides to deal with her glitch.
- Minimalist Cast: There are 4 named characters:
- Ele.OS, the main protagonist
- VIRI, the main antagonist,
- Ally. The whole point of the first song is that she is The Ghost.
- Reece, who appears for a single scene before VIRI encrypts him.
- Named After First Installment
- Moe Anthropomorphism: Ele.OS, VIRI, and Reece have official human forms, first revealed in the July and August end cards. for Ele and VIRI, and the So Open animatic for Reece.
- Obviously Not Fine: In Reboot Me, after Ele.OS breaks down, apologizes, and starts glitching out.
- Ominous Visual Glitch: Used extensively. In fact, it'd be easier to count the songs that avert this trope.
- Perspective Flip: In the original demo of Reboot Me, the second verse is actually sung by Ally, Ele.OS' owner.
- Please Subscribe to Our Channel: Please Subscribe. Duh. the first verse, anyway...
- Puppy-Dog Eyes: Ele has these briefly in Reboot Me.
- Re-Cut: The competition edition of Reboot Me.
- Ridiculously Human Robots: Ele.OS and Reece are downplayed examples. While not appearing human (except in their human forms, then it's played straight), they seemingly have fully humanlike personalities. also, they're artificially intelligent computer programs.
- Second Chapter Cliffhanger: More like a seventh-song cliffhanger, as the Villain Episode "So Open" ends with several Wham Episode reveals. VIRI, the Big Bad ransomware virus, corrupts Trashbin.exe and Reece. It's also revealed that Ele.OS might cause an AI singularity.
- Ship Tease: A tweet by Jakeneutron shows Ele.OS and VIRI holding hands while Ele wears a dress with the colors of the lesbian flag and VIRI has a scarf with the same colors.
- The Singularity: In So Open, there is a Freeze-Frame Bonus that hints that Ele.OS might cause a technological singularity.
- Stepford Smiler: Ele.OS. She tries to deny that things might be less-than-fine.
- discussed and finally subverted in Error Error.
I've got this
'cause for real I am losing sight of my soul...
Why can't I be honest?
Am I lying just so I won't face it all?
- Title Drop Chapter: Reboot Me.
- Tragic Robot: Ele.OS, other than being a sentient operating system instead of a robot.
- Villain Song / Villain Episode: So Open.
- Wham Episode: So Open. It has VIRI's first official appearance, it is confirmed that she is a ransomware virus, and that Ally's dad programmed Ele.OS and left her with a massive secret known as "Project Eleanor" that likely has something to do with the AI singularity.
- Not as major, but Error Error. Ele finally decides to deal with her glitch instead of denying it.
- Wham Line: this line in So Open.
- Wham Shot: VIRI's first appearance in Please Subscribe.
