Münchener Freiheit, more usually known in the English-speaking world simply as Freiheit, are a pop/rock band who are very popular in their native Germany. Their name comes from a Munich square, the Münchner Freiheit.
In English speaking countries, they are best (perhaps only) known for "Keeping the Dream Alive" ("Solang' man Träume noch leben kann" in the original German version).

Keeping the Tropes Alive:
- Arc Words: Many of their lyrics contain the word "augenblick" ("moment" or "instant").
- Christmas Song: Like many songs by others, "Keeping the Dream Alive" has become this by association.
- Gratuitous English: "Oh Baby" and "Baby Blue" (see below) are titled in English, and have those words as part of the lyric, but are otherwise in German.
- Intercourse with You: "So Good" from Fantasy. Probably also the German original, "So Heiß" ("So Hot").
- Melismatic Vocals: Both versions of "Diana" have a five-note version in the Title Drop.
- Title Drop: Nearly all their songs, usually as the first or last bit of the chorus. The albums Fantasie/Fantasy get an Album Title Drop in the songs "Land der Fantasie" and "Land of Fantasy" respectively.
- Translated Cover Version: They once did a cover of Bob Dylan's "Baby Blue"... in German.
