Lifeseeker is a rap group formed in 1997. They released the Self Titled Debut Album in 2000. Their songs have appeared in the Dead Rising game series, first "Gone Guru" plays in the 2006 original when the Convicts are in Leisure Park, then in 2011's Dead Rising 2: Off the Record where "His Name's Frank" plays in the credits.

Their music provides examples of:

  • Double X: "Axxe", an instrumental from the Self Titled Debut Album.
  • Going Native: Parodied in "Gone Guru". A rockstar becomes disillusioned with his glamorous lifestyle and gives it all up to become a hermit living out of a van in the middle of the woods. He becomes a self-help guru, and ends up even more rich and famous than he was before, to the point of becoming the leader of his own cult. He promptly returns to his old hedonistic ways, and when he reaches old age he spends all of his money on a procedure to turn him into a Brain in a Jar robot so he can keep partying it up for all eternity.
  • Greed: The guy in "Gone Guru" decides to go for "nine for me, one for you" when it comes to dues you'd have to pay.
  • Our Fairies Are Different: "Gone Guru" has the guy mention that he saw a thirty-foot fairy walking down your street.
  • Self-Titled Album: Lampshaded with the first album called Self Titled Debut Album.
  • Third Eye: The guy in "Gone Guru" mentions that his third eye is open, which means he realised he’s drinking piss, and would rather have Swiss Miss chocolate drink.
