Our hearts are like
Firestones
And when they strike
We feel the love
Sparks will fly
They ignite our bones
And when they strike
We light up the world!
— "Firestone"

Who's gonna trope you through the dark side of the morning?

  • Bittersweet 17: The Kygo feat. Selena Gomez track "It Ain't Me" is about someone getting drunk and their friend not looking after them because they're not kids anymore:
I had a dream, we were back to seventeen,
Summer nights and The Libertines, never growing up.
  • Break Up Song: It Ain't Me is about the singer breaking up with someone and asking them who will look after them now.
    Who's gonna walk you
Through the dark side of the morning?
    Who's gonna rock you
When the sun won't let you sleep?
Who's waking up to drive you home
When you're drunk and all alone?
    Who's gonna walk you
Through the dark side of the morning?
    It ain't me.
  • Earn Your Happy Ending: The music video for "Stole The Show" is about two aliens reuniting with each other and escaping after running away from the government throughout the video.
  • Epic Rocking: "Freeze" goes on for just over 8 minutes.
  • Shout-Out: The Libertines are mentioned in "It Ain't Me".
  • Special Guest: The vocal artists for his songs include Foxes, Ellie Goulding, Imagine Dragons, Dean Lewis, OneRepublic, Selena Gomez and Kodaline.

We used to have it all, but now's our curtain call
So hold for the applause, oh
And wave out to the crowd, and take our final bow
Oh, it's our time to go, but at least we stole the show
