Kronos are a French Brutal Death Metal band that formed in 1994 and split up in 2017. Their lyrical themes revolve around Greek Mythology, focusing on the gorier aspects of said myths.
Although they split up in 2017, they reunited again with the lineup in Colossal Titan Strife to commemorate its 20th anniversary.

This band provides the examples of the following:
- Brutal Death Metal
- Classical Mythology: Their main lyrical theme
- Early-Installment Weirdness: They were originally going to play Thrash Metal ala Slayer.
- Former Child Star: The band-members were all still teenages when they formed.
- Four Is Death: They retired after Arisen New Era, their fourth album after an eight-year gap. Only time will tell if they release a new album following their reunion in 2023, however.
- Gorn: They put this twist on their lyrics while remaining true to their source. Given the source material, they really didn't have to do much in this regard.
- I Am the Band: Grams.
- Lead Bassist: Tom is a Type A and Type B.
- Melodic Death Metal: Colossal had this in shades.
- Metal Scream: Most prominent on Colossal
- Revolving Door Band: Grams was the only one to remain after two decades.
- Technical Death Metal: Not a full-fledged example, but they flirted with it.
