"Red lip? No."

CLC (short for "CrystaL Clear") is a South Korean Girl Group formed by CUBE Entertainment in 2015 and disbanded in 2022. They debuted with the single "Pepe" on March 18, 2015. The group originally consisted of only five members - Seunghee, Yujin, Seungyeon, Sorn, and Yeeun - but Elkie and Eunbin were added in 2016.

In December of 2020 Elkie announced she was requesting that Cube terminate her contract, claiming that they had violated it and that Cube had stopped their "developmental support" of the group, and in February of 2021 it was confirmed she had left the group.

In November of 2021, it was announced that Sorn had terminated her contract with Cube following a mutual agreement, and would be leaving the group. In her farewell letter, she wrote "I would like to thank everyone who has been supporting me and everything I’ve done with CLC. For the past 10 years, I’ve learnt so much from the whole experience. I’ve met six wonderful girls who have become my second family in Korea. I’m so proud of all the achievements we have accomplished together as a team and I’ve enjoyed every single moment with them through our ups and downs. I wish my girls all the best and I will support them in everything they do."

In December of 2021, Yujin placed third in the survival show Girls Planet 999 and debuted as a member of Kep1er.

In March of 2022, Seungyeon and Yeeun also left the group following the expirations of their contracts.

On May 20, 2022, Cube announced that CLC would be officially disbanding on June 6 of that year, however Seungyeon would later reply to a fan's comment on Tiktok saying that the group had not disbanded before deleting her reply, leaving the group's fate ultimately unknown.
