Broken Iris is a Sacramento-based rock band that originally formed in 2005 lead by Adam Roth. In 2007, they released their first (and thus far, only) album entitled "The Eyes of Tomorrow". A new album is in the works but has yet to be released.

- "A New Hope" is a song about visiting the grave of a past lover.
- "Beautiful Girl" mourns the titular girl.
- "Lauren's Lullaby" is about a man missing his recently deceased lover. Her smell still remains around the house and it makes him depressed. He's decided to take his pain and turn it into a lullaby.
- Ironic Episode Title: "A New Hope" is about feeling hopeless after the death of a loved one.I guess I'll spend another lifetime / Searching for a new hope
- Last Note Nightmare: "Broken Inside" is a soft song except for the last 15 or so seconds, which consists of screaming and heavy drumming.
- The Lost Lenore: The person being described about in "A New Hope" is this to the singer. It's mentioned that they've spent a lifetime looking for them and will spend another looking for another.
- Snow Means Death: It's cold when the narrator of "A New Hope" visits his lover's grave.Gust of freezing cold air whispers to me you're gone
- The Tragic Rose: Used in "A New Hope", where a red rose is put on a grave:To your grave I spoke
