Bette Midler (born December 1, 1945) is an American singer, songwriter, actor, comedian, and film producer. Can be seen as the Spiritual Successorinvoked to Ethel Merman due to the Celebrity Resemblance between them in terms of physical appearance, comparable acting styles and singing.

She was born in Honolulu, Hawaii and named after Bette Davis (though with a different pronunciation). She attended Radford High School and was voted "Most Talkative" in 1961 and "Most Dramatic" in 1963.
