Absurd is a national socialist Black Metal band from Germany and one of the most infamous NSBM bands out there.
Absurd gives examples of the following tropes.:
- Accent Upon The Wrong Syllable - A rather amusing example occurs in "Gates of Heaven"We knew what we did was un-accep-TABLE
- Album Intro Track:
- Thuringian Pagan Madness sort of has one, but it's merged with the first song on the album.
- Gratuitous English: "Last Breath" has an English title despite being sung in German.
- Metal Scream - Being a black metal band, type 3 screams are common. Other types pop up on occasion, as well.
- Miniscule Rocking - For being a Black Metal band, they play very short songs. Songs in the 2 minute range are common.
- Updated Re Release - Der Fünfzehnjährige Krieg is mostly a collection of older songs that have been re-recorded.
