- This fan animation of Pooh dancing blew up in popularity in early 2017 and led to several variations that played music over it, most popularly with Pitbull's "Hotel Room Service".
- The notorious Chinese meme comparing certain images of Pooh to various photographs of the rather stout-looking Xi Jinping, thus leading to the character being permanently and forever associated with the Chinese president.note Contrary to popular belief, the Winnie the Pooh franchise itself has not been Banned in China, it remains popular there and even has a ride in Shanghai Disneyland.
