Hot Blooded Woman (열혈여아) is a 24 vol. manhwa by Mi-Ri Hwang, who also made Cutie Boy and He's Dedicated to Roses.

What is a sweet, soft-spoken girl (Haji Kang) to do when her brothers, having just learned fencing and martial arts, decide to test some moves out on her in order to "tame her" and make her into their "little slave?" She runs to her knightly friend (Te-Hu Kang, not related to Haji) for protection, of course. However, what happens when, instead of comforting her, he tells her that she is a coward for running away like a puppy who needs constant protection? No, she does not break down and cry like a weak girl.

Instead, she resolves to grow stronger. With rigorous training everyday, Haji goes from being a scared girl who cries for help to becoming the Jjang (boss of a gang) of the Doberman gang.

However, events lead to Haji getting in an accident with a truck. Afterwards, she is reborn into the body of a beautiful, but weak, rich girl Aram Han. At her new school, everyone is surprised at the sudden change they see in Aram, who has gone from a gloomy, good student to a rude, carefree troublemaker. Many people bully her.

When Haji finds out that it is all due to Shin-woo Park, the handsome prince and Jjang of the school who detests Aram, she decides to have a duel with him for the position of Jjang.

Examples:

  • Amazon Chaser: Both Shinwoo and Hanseo qualify, as they fall in love with the very strong, potty-mouthed and non-womanly Haji. Hanseo makes it clear that he only likes Haji as her Blood Knight, oblivious self, while Shinwoo only starts to like Aram after her body has been inhabited by Haji.
  • Ambiguously Bi: Haji ends up with Shinwoo in the end, but the way she gets amused when "cute girls" - in her own words - talk back to her and won't hit them unless absolutely need to might suggest that she's bisexual.
  • Arranged Marriage: Shinwoo and Haram were supposed to be engaged to each other at first. Later on, Seo Youngin attempts to force him to be engaged to her, but his heart already belongs to Haji.
  • Badass in Distress: This happens to Haji a lot. To be fair, they usually end up slipping her a mickey as she is usally too tough for most kidnappers to handle, either that or she eats them out of house and home, or ends up giving them a Curb-Stomp Battle anyway.
  • Berserk Button: Haji really hates being called a puppy. Since her full name, "Kang Haji", sounds like the Korean word for "puppy" (Kang Ahji), she really hates it when people call her by her full name.
  • Big Eater: Haji really loves food, and at times, her voracious appetite overpowers her thoughts and emotions.
  • Cast Full of Pretty Boys: Hanseo, Junghyeop, Shinwoo, Muhyeon,... and of course Haji is immune to all of them.
  • Chaste Heroine: Due to being pretty much brainwashed by Hanseo, Haji is this in a nutshell. She genuinely believes that a jjang can not have a relationship until 19 and can't comprehend the fact that guys might want to confess to her rather than requesting a duel with her.
  • Covers Always Lie: This cover makes it look like Haji, Shinwoo and Hanseo are three best buddies. Well, Haji is in a good relationship with them both, but to say that the two guys "don't get along" is a huge understatement.
  • Curb-Stomp Battle: Unless you are Shinwoo or Hanseo, you will be subjected to this should you ever provoke Haji.
  • Defrosting Ice Queen: Subverted with Haji-in-Aram's-body. She becomes an awful lot friendlier than before, and the people note that she acts like a different person... because she is a different person.
  • Dramatic Irony:
    • After the accident, "Aram" becomes more fun and kind, which attracts Shinwoo who previously loathes her... which only frustrates the real Aram because that is Haji he's in love with.
    • Later, when Haji's soul gets back to her own body, Shinwoo wants to take revenge on her, believing that she ordered the death of "Aram"... when it's actually Aram-in-Haji's-body who did that. Luckily, he realizes the truth later.
  • The Dreaded: Haji is a Played for Laughs example, while Hanseo is a destructive example. And Haji's mom is this to everyone, also Played for Laughs.
  • Horrible Judge of Character: For some reasons, Hanseo never figured out that Aram-in-Haji’s-body is not the same Haji he knew, despite her obviously drastically changed behaviors. To his credit, he did notice that Haji-in-Aram’s-body acted like his Haji, but he let his jealousy of her closeness with Shinwoo cloud his better judgments.
  • Lady Swears-a-Lot: Haji has quite the potty mouth, being a gangster and all. Moya has to constantly reminds her that Aram doesn't talk like that.
  • Screw Destiny: It was Moya’s attempt to do this that started the entire story. To elaborate, even though Aram was in love with Shinwoo, he had already been destined to be with Haji. Wanting Aram to be happy, Moya took advantage of the car accident Haji got into and switched her body with Aram’s, so Aram could have a chance to have Shinwoo love her back. However, as we all know, it backfired horribly. Shinwoo made it clear that no matter what body she’s in, he will still only love Haji.
  • Split Personality: What Shinwoo thinks of the whole situation with Haji-in-Aram's-body. He explicitly tells her that "If you are the real Aram, I will never like you the way I do now!" which shows that he differentiates them clearly and thinks of Haji as a split personality of Aram. Later, when he asks Haji why she ruined their engagement party if she liked him, she scowls and replies that she won't let him be engaged to Aram. He gets surprised at first before smiling, interpreting what she says as she doesn't consider herself to be Aram and wants him to be engaged with her instead. Which works just fine for him - it's Haji that he likes anyway.
  • Tsundere: Shinwoo is the type A, Played for Laughs. Due to horrendeous "poker face" training his father forced on him when he was young, he showed affection by hate and hate by kind words. This causes great conflict for him because he just can't show Haji-in-Aram's-body properly that he does love her, a lot. However, after Haji gets back to her body, he seems to have worked this out and acts more like a type B now.
  • Wicked Stepmother: Subverted. Although Aram's stepmother seems to dislike her at first, it's later revealed that it was Aram who resents her and makes sure they won't get along, despite the mother's effort. In truth, the mother does love Aram, and when Haji-in-Aram's-body accidentally calls her "mom", she is overjoyed.
  • Wouldn't Hit a Girl: Both Junghyeop and Taehoo are not amused to find their subordinates hitting Haji-in-Aram's-body. However, Taehoo takes this up to eleven as even after finding out that Aram-in-Haji's-body has ordered for Hanseo and co. to beat the crap out and even almost rape Haji, the farthest he does to her is slap her and even offers to take her home, although he does make it clear that he wants nothing to do with her afterward.
    • Haji also specifically mentions that she will not hit girls, especially cute ones.
  • Would Hit a Girl: In contrast, Shinwoo and Hanseo won't bat an eye as they destroy you even if you are a woman. However, while Shinwoo only ever hits Haji, who is very much capable to fight back and doesn't mind anyway, Hanseo hits any girl that pisses him off, and let's not even mention all the shit he has done to Haji, in Aram's body or not...
  • Wounded Gazelle Gambit: Yeong In uses this ploy against Haji, it doesn't work.
