  • Anthropomorphic Personification: Lune, Soleil, Eto, and Nuage respectively personify the moon, sun, stars and the weather.
  • Cosmic Motifs:
    • The main protagonist, Lune, has a moon motif and is aptly titled the "Girl on the Moon". She has moon accessories around her, down to her own staff which has a crescent moon on its head, as well as a hair ornament with a moon on it. She is calm and unsmiling for most of the time, at least, which also causes her to unable to see a full moon.
    • A very ironic case for Soleil. He has a sun motif, whose main role is to brighten the outside world, as well as wearing a necklace with a sun pendant on it. But he's a habitual Nervous Wreck who is Prone to Tears, often resulting in the outside world raining and the sky being pitch black.
    • Eto has a star motif who is prone to getting star-struck, with his main job of bringing stars at the night sky. He is also energetic but has bouts of being mean to others.
  • Empathic Environment: Nuage is the personification of weather, where her mood and emotions determine it. Too much crying can cause her to start heavy rains and even lightning strikes.
  • The Gadfly: Nuage likes to cause trouble towards Lune and Soleil, but particularly towards the former.
  • Gender-Equal Ensemble: Across the four main characters, there are equally two males (Soleil and Eto) and two females (Lune and Nuage).
  • Irony:
    • Lune, the embodiment of the moon, causes others to unable to see the full moon for most of the time due to her unsmiling, calm nature.
    • Soleil, the physical embodiment of the sun whose job is to brighten up the outside world, is a Nervous Wreck who is Prone to Tears, causing rain when he does it.
  • Minimalist Cast: Only four recurring characters appear in the story.
  • Nervous Wreck: Soleil is prone to this, who gets easily depressed for strange reasons, who often hides in a flower bed. He is also prone to causing rain due to being a crybaby.
  • Slice of Life: The manga focuses on the daily lives of each four children who are in-charge of respectively regulating the sun, the moon, the stars and the weather.
