  • Not Blood Siblings: Eiji's younger sister Emi has a crush on Eiji and feels justified about it because they aren't blood related. Eiji doesn't see her as anything more than his sister though.
  • Primal Scene: Deconstructed in one case of called "Justice, the Bloddthirsty Killer". The culprit saw his mother having sex another man when he was a child he became so traumatized he developed an extreme hatred toward girls whom he deems "whores."
  • Police Psychic: Eiji uses his psychic abilities to help Shima and the rest of the police department solve cases.
  • Psychometry: Eiji has the ability to see an object or person's history just by touching them. He doesn't have much control over what he sees however.
