Makaryuudo Demon Hunter is an 80's manga by Keukegen. It was adapted into a 1989 OVA by Studio Fantasia and director Yukio Okamoto.A powerful demon girl named Yama, punished by a crime against the laws of the underworld, is sent to the human world to hunt rogue demons. In her first assignment, she goes to Japan, the home of a certain Ordinary High-School Student named Sho Kurogane that unknowingly has a connection to her troubled past. Posing as a high school girl herself, Yama will have to endure the quirks of the human life while remembering her dour mission to keep the cosmic balance.
