Green Green Greens (グリーングリーングリーンズ) is a manga series written and illustrated by Kento Terasaka. The first chapter was published on November 27, 2023 in issue 52, 2023 of Weekly Shonen Jump.

Haku Yaesaki is a bored high school student with no direction in life. Right as he starts noticing how all his friends have dreams they are striving for, he meets pro golfer hopeful Nadeshiko Oga and his empty life begins to change. Now, it's time to find a whole new you as this golfing adventure tees off!

This series features the following tropes:

  • Aloof Big Brother: Oliver to his younger brother, as he's so preoccupied with his career as a golfer that he just doesn't have any idea on how to connect with him. Yaesaki does manage to help them repair their relationship, to which Oliver is deeply grateful to him for.
  • Aloof Dark-Haired Girl: Fitting with her black hair, Oga typically has a detached, stoic attitude.
  • Always Someone Better: A recurring theme in the series is that, no matter how hard you try at something, there will always be someone better at it than you. Which is to say that if you do something, do it because you want to do it, not because you simply want to be the best at it.
  • Everyone Has Standards: Oga openly dislikes Yaesaki and frequently butts heads with him. However when she overhears a group of golfers mocking him for being an amateur at golf, she tells them off to their faces and threatens to ban them from the driving range. No one, regardless of who they might be, deserves to have their hard work mocked and belittled.
  • Fire-Forged Friends: While Yaesaki and Oliver don't start off on bad terms, their first interaction has Oliver be somewhat rude when he turns down Yaesaki's request for lessons. However, after Yaesaki helps Oliver connect with his younger brother, the two of them quickly become friends.
  • Hot-Blooded: Hagio is a very over-the-top and passionate individual. He and Yaesaki had a driving competition with the loser supposedly having to leave their job, and Hagio (unlike Yaesaki) was actually serious about going through with it.
  • How We Got Here: The first chapter opens with Yaesaki as a pro golfer performing at the Masters Tournament.
  • I Am Not Left-Handed: When practicing putting with Olga, Yaesaki reveals that he's not actually not right-handed despite practicing with his right hand for the entire series up until this point.
  • Jerk with a Heart of Gold: Yaesaki, though he's not so much of a "jerk" as it is that he just doesn't take his life all that seriously. Though when you get down to it, he's honestly a nice guy underneath all of that.
  • Not So Stoic: It's somewhat subtle, but Oga. When put in a competitive environment, she gradually drops the aloof exterior and becomes increasingly fiery and expressive. As Oliver puts it, there are two kinds of golfers: those who get more intense as the game goes on and those who sink more deeply into themselves. If Yaesaki is the latter, Oga is definitely the former.
  • Sports Story: If you couldn't tell by the cover, Green Green Greens is a manga about golf.
