Tenshi no Marshmallow, loosely translated as An Angel's Marshmallow or Angel's Marshmallow, is a four volume Ecchinote series by Pon Takahanada (who, by the way, is female). It ran from 2006 to 2010.
Salaryman Kotaro Takami is a big fan of gravure model Misaki Hoshino. Now his dream to meet her may be coming true; the TV station he works for wants to use Hoshino for their new promotion - and Takami is in charge of PR for the station. But the perfect day seems to go awry when he accidentally walks in on a woman changing her costume. With her glasses, braided pony-tails (and hot body) Takami finds himself falling in love. But just who is she...?
This series provides examples of:
- Ascended Fanboy: The entire premise, as Takami gets to have sex with the woman of his dreams.
- Ecchi: Edging very, very, VERY close to Hentai, but there's no yellow sticker on the cover so technically it's not.
- Everybody Has Lots of Sex: And we do mean everybody! It is a borderline hentai, after all. There's a disproportionate amount of voyeuristic scenes, too.
- The Everyman: Takami, who's mostly just an audience stand-in.
- Idealized Sex
- Porn with Plot: A rather engrossing romantic storyline, at that.
- Rose-Haired Sweetie: Misaki, all the way.
- Salaryman: The main male protagonist.
- Sex Is Good: Well, for the most part, anyway. There's a couple of creepy scenes involving Misaki being forced into sex acts by various dirty old men in the later volumes, but they don't last long and the meat of the story is Misaki and Takami's relationship, which is very much a good one.
- Strictly Formula: Every chapter must have a sex scene, logic be damned.
- The Immodest Orgasm: Every time.
- Wall Bang Her: Unsurprisingly often, but an impressive example happens in volume 3, where Misaki and another girl both have sex on the opposite sides of a see-through wall, orgasming at the same time.
- Word Salad Title: No, there's no angel whatsoever in the story, although it could be referring to Misaki herself. As for the "marshmallow" part, you got me.
