Tropes regarding characters that don't have a nudity taboo.
Characters that don't wear clothing are typically played for either fanservice or humor, with reactions from others can range from Please Put Some Clothes On, Not Distracted by the Sexy or Eating the Eye Candy.
But not every character without a nudity taboo is a nudist. Some, in fact, are not even human. They may be a cartoon character who doesn't wear a full outfit or a fictional species or alien that has no need for clothing. More extreme cases may have entirely different nudity taboos than we do, or may not even possess genitalia.

- Pantsless Males, Fully-Dressed Females: When this only applies to male Funny Animals or other non-humans.
- Posthuman Nudism: Transcending humanity also means transcending its nudity taboo.
- Shameless Fanservice Girl: Characters who are fully aware of and understand the nudity taboo, but just don't care about it. Also usually female.
- Sleeps in the Nude: Characters who go to bed naked.
- Technically Naked Shapeshifter: Shapeshifters whose "clothes" are really part of their body.
- Walking Shirtless Scene: Characters who spend most of their screentime shirtless, regardless of the situation. Usually male.
- Walking Swimsuit Scene: Characters who spend most of their screentime wearing swimwear, regardless of the situation.
