Glasses. They can be geeky. But we no longer have a trope called Geeky Glasses. Tropes you might be looking for if you came to this page:
- The Glasses Gotta Go: Step one in The Makeover: ditch the glasses.
- Nerd Glasses: Showing that a character is socially inept by having them wear unstylish glasses.
- Opaque Nerd Glasses: As above, but the glasses have lenses so thick they're opaque.
- Smart People Wear Glasses: Showing that a character is smart by putting them in glasses.
- Purely Aesthetic Glasses: Wearing nonprescription glasses solely to look smart, sophisticated or cute.
- Unwanted Glasses Plot: Character has to get glasses, thinks they're ugly, tries to get out of wearing them (and may or may not succeed).
