Within the past five years or so, commentaries have become quite popular on YouTube. Mostly, these commentaries are of video games, due to their apparent immunity from copyright laws (at least as far as broadcasting the footage goes). but some groups will commentate on movies or even TV shows.
These commentary groups range greatly in professionalism, from doing multiple takes of a commentary to simply having the video in the background while the commentators talk about anything that crosses their minds.
